......No Limits

This is the message that was in my fortune cookie today. Why would you ever want to keep your expectations reasonable? Who decides what is reasonable?

To me this says "don't expect too much for yourself", that we shouldn't reach for more than we are worthy of. Looking back through the history of the world, imagine all that we would not have if the major players kept their expectations reasonable. I find this theme to run rampant throughout society. We are constantly being put in our place by the overwhelming, unspoken force of "reasonable expectations." Well I disagree most unreasonably so.

There is nothing reasonable about my expectations, my reach is far beyond what others believe I am capable of. My desires surpass what you perceive they should be. My actions will never fit into the mold that has been set for me.

Fortune Cookie says "Keep Your Expectations Resonable".....I say, NEVER!

You work, you plan, you dream. You talk, you scheme, you search. You breathe it, you live it, you taste it and then without warning, you have it.

We spend so much of our lives working towards that dream, that apex of hope that has been our Truth North for so long. We are never really prepared for when it arrives. That moment when you realize you have to back up all that talk you've been talking for all that time. When that moment hits there is a wave that follows, excitement, then shock, then nausea when you realize that it's put up or shut up time.

I wonder how many dreams died in that very moment? How many crumbled under the weight of following through on their dream. I hope I am one of those that shoulders the weight and pushes through to the result.

I found out yesterday that the biggest hurdle in my dream was removed. All road blocks are gone and it is smooth sailing; all I have to do is jump. You are invited to join me on this journey, for I will not falter under the weight. I am ready for the responsibilities that come with the opportunities.
