As I was cleaning out my apartment preparing to move to UAE, I came across this piece of paper. I can't even remember where I originally got it or how long I've had it, in fact I had completely forgotten about it till it resurfaced during the move.
What a great confirmation of the adventure I was preparing to embark on! Every day your life is filled with possibilities, that is the freshness that each morning promises you. True, when the alarm goes off to get you up for another day of work at a job you don't enjoy, it's hard to see what possibilities await you that day, but seen or not -- they are there.
I've been in UAE for a week now, and despite fulfilling my dream of coming, I too forget to drink in the deliciousness of the effervescent possibilities. What an amazing opportunity I have and yes, it will take time to settle and adjust, but what unbelievable possibilities abound before me.
To truly savor life, do not seek out the empty instant gratification of the now but wait for the exquisite awards that come from nurturing and coaxing the possible into the actual.
